For the forthcoming ITV series of "More Tales from Northumberland", I met up with Robson Green at Housesteads Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall, to talk about Roman pottery and what it tells us about life in Northumberland between the first and fifth centuries. I also got Robson to have a go on the wheel but you'll have to watch the programme to see how he got on.
Secret Britain: Adam turned out to be a pretty competent potter when I met him near the site of a Roman Villa in Yorkshire.
